Indiana State 76 Illinois State 72

IMO:

This really hurts Illinois St's potential at-large chances. This also really hurts the MVC's chances of having two potential at-large teams.

If Drake rolls the MVCT.... MVC = 1 bid league

Wow, ISU is turning into a two man team....

Eldridge had 34 points, 12 baskets, 7 3-pointers
Slack had 10
The entire team besides Eldridge had 11 baskets and zero 3-pointers.

But the story here, is unfortunately ISU couldn't hold the lead and missed some crucial FT's.
They jumped out to an early 15 point lead but it melted away as Indiana State finally caught up in the 2nd half.
Now with an 18-8 record, and an RPI that's over 50, it is beginning to look like only Drake would have a shot at an at large bid if they don't win the tourney.

This doesn't deserve its own separate thread....
but Wichita State's Graham Hatch is also injured and out for the rest of the season.

He hasn't played much but did play a then-season-high 16 minutes against BU in Peoria, scoring 5, then followed up with a nice game against Creighton, then played a lot for a stretch, even starting a couple games.
WSU at 3-11 isn't likely headed anywhere, anyway.
